Beautification of another's Vette, simple clay barring and detail. This 2000 was already in great shape, just made it purtier........:D

You have a passion that I admire. Give unto yourself, and give more unto others. Keep it up. :cert:

If you ever road trip it to the Mid-Atlantic area, stop in, we'll knock it out.

Just watched a yt video and a detailer compared plumbers putty to clay bar.

Putty was only $2. Clay bar kit $15. Kit came with a nice towel, 2 clay bars, and spray. Probably not enough price difference to matter, but both worked about the same. He used a little water and car wash with the plumbers putty for the spray.

Question for C5s. How are people keeping them on the road? The rear window falls out on the vert, ECM not made anymore, my 2004’s interior buttons were falling apart, seats stopped working, heat diverted flap not working, replaced AC, mag shocks died, seems parts are getting harder to get.

Do you see these kinds of issues? I had to glue in my rear window four times. I’m really good at it.

Have a clay bar session lined up every Wed until mid-April, and expect more.
You're welcome to stop by.

Some of the ones that come over have a few similar issues, but mostly the vert window.

I have a fix for that. I’ve tried every method. I did a lengthy write up over time using various glues. What works is 3m windoweld. But it need to be used properly with etching primer. I also designed a better way of clamping.
