Never had them before. Suffered from hay fever as a kid, but have outgrown that.

Here lately something is seriously f'ing with me. It does not seem to be location specific. It is getting to me pretty much no matter where I am at. I just spent the last hour sneezing my brains out and now I am wheezing and my eyes are itching like crazy.

Guess I will be heading to the doctor's office this week to see WTH is up with this.

Anybody else suffer from this? What did/are you doing to control it? Need some relief here. :sadangel:

I take Zyrtec every morning and usually take 50-75mg benadryl every night when I go to bed--helps me sleep and I'm clear in the morning. Every few weeks I get an attack like you're describing where it feels like I'm going to sneeze my organs out :willy:

Taking Sudafed right now. I know better than to touch my eyes. Had them swell shut many times as a child. Sucks big time. I hope the docs can figure out what is causing this. I will try that after the sudafed wheres off.

You need an antihistamine too. Sudafed will help relieve the pain and pressure from the allergies, but the antihistamine (claritin, allegra, zyrtec, etc...) will help block your body's response to the allergens

:iagree: Hoping it settles down enough for me to go get some.

The pollen count is high around here too.

Pollen is not high here right now as far as I know. But the grass and tree mold is. Thinking it is one of those. But hell, it could be something entirely different. :bilmem:

A lot of people are fighting allergies around here. Hopefully it will die down in the next few weeks.

For me it's oak pollen. Oh, did I mention I live in the Ozarks. There are just a couple of oak trees around. Oh, and did I mention that it's oak pollen season right now. Great fun, oh yeah, fun fun fun.
