I love sugar cookie dough; so much I buy a tube of the Pillsbury stuff and fork it out of the plastic tube.

Wife always said it was too risky. I called the company... they told me their cookie doughs are made with dried eggs; so there shouldn't be any fear of Salmonella. Though they still recommended I bake the cookies and not eat the raw dough.

I've never seen lemon juice in a cookie recipe. I didn't have fresh lemons, so I used RealLemon juice. The cookies are good.

BTW, I do have a chocolate cake recipe that calls for lemon juice. That cake is amazing. Made it so much that I didn't need to have the recipe in front of me.

You guys are totally over-reacting. Snide doesn't have to actually climb his whole body into the oven. That would be mean and cruel and stuff. If he just sticks his head and torso in there for say, 40 minutes at 350 degrees, that dough will cook thoroughly, and there won't be a problem.
