Back in 2016, Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars fame, found a Stutz Bearcat in a barn. After purchasing it, getting it running and having some fun with it, he sold it at auction. Here is some of that story (https://www.motor1.com/news/78710/1921-stutz-bearcat-headed-to-auction-with-plenty-of-patina/), along with more photos. Here is the Bonhams (https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23425/lot/84/) listing.

Such a beautiful car.

Found in GA. and I remember watching the show when it aired. I kept thinking...How many times I may have driven by it. It's my favorite of everything that has been on the show.

He also bought this one. I would say 'found' but I think the owner contacted him and gave him first choice at it. It was 20 miles from me and the town I have worked in for 40 years and never heard a word about it. I even went to the cruise night every months for several years there. No one knew about it or talked about it.

I watch that show regularly. Last year during the week of the Amelia Island Concours, our club had our own car show and Wayne showed up. One of our members has bought several cars from Southebys so they brought a couple of their auction cars over also. It was quite a nice car show for our little golf club. :hurray:

The tv shows sell ads which need viewers. They'd never lie to make a buck. Just look at reality programs for all the truth they tell.
