One of the Kawasaki Two Stroke guys is doing the dual front disk upgrade to 1972 H2 750 triple. I converted a a left side caliper to right side ( folks are real "proud" of originals, they bring up to $500 ) and he had purchased new mounts from another vendor.

Turns out although the fork mount is the same, the holes are too big for the H2 caliper ( 11mm instead of 10mm )

This is the last thing he needs to finish the cycle to be able to ride it. He asks me to do bushings. Since I don't have the right size material for the bushings, I find a set of four on Ebay for $19 shipped.

I don't know if they can convert metric measurements to imperial but the 13mm the ad said was WAY undersize. 13mm equates to .5118 in inches and the bushings measured under 1/2", .496 to be exact :banghead:

So much for one day turn around :nutkick:

Got the reply to the message and the picture I sent the seller.

He apologized for the mistake in the listing and gave me a full refund. Since it was an inexpensive part, I was told I can keep them.

Nice to deal with a seller who does the right thing without ANY proding :hurray:

If the ID is indeed 10mm can you spin the outside down to 11mm and save the parts?

It'll be easier to use the 12mm / 10 mm brass tubing I have than to turn those parts to a .020 wall thickness and then press them in place.

I know it's hard to believe and most definitely in the minority but Yes, it actually happened. :yesnod:
