Woo Hoo met another Barner!
Didn’t get to talk much unfortunately - it’s almost impossible for me to have an actual conversation with anyone because a hundred people want to have a conversation with me...
I shot him my phone number and hope to talk more.
Waiting for his review... (hope we didn’t suck...)

It's like the Foo Fighters. Only a tiny percentage of the proceeds from their albums is used for the actual fighting of foo.

He is a big guy. The rats likely ran when they saw him. Where is he?

So what did you do with him? :leaving:
maybe he goes by the old adage....if you have nothing nice to say, keep it to yourself.

The big question is, did Snik bring up ratflinger to sing lead on Tom Sawyer?

I did send a PM with my number and the offer to sit down and get acquainted. It's super hard for me to have a meaningful conversation with anyone at these things.
Here's a little of what transpired.

I've been going to Mitch Woods shows since the early 80s in the SF Bay Area. You fit in with him great, Pete. That guitar sounds excellent. Mitch is a total pro and he always seems to enjoy the show as much as any fan in the room.:yesnod:
I have a bunch of his vinyl from those days. Is it the first time you ever played with him?

Nice! Yes first time. I’ve also followed him for decades. Much of my musical sound and vocal style is heavily influenced by him.
Man we had a blast.
Are Mitch Woods and Ratflinger the same person? :bigears:

Sorry I have been remiss. Had a great time and the music was wonderful. It was swing, so the music and the dancers were quite active. Mitch put on a good show, the horn guys were outstanding and Snik didn't do too bad either :seasix: A couple of pixs

He's had a different band pretty much every time I have seen him so I guess it was a matter if time until you had your turn.
Will you be playing with him for awhile, or was this just a one time shot?
Last time I saw him it was just him and a jazz drummer in a small club. Different kind of show, very intimate, almost like a piano bar.

I did four shows with him. I don't tour anymore but we might do some things in NOLA. I hooked him up with Delbert McClinton's song writing partner so I'm thinking new album in store.

I'd like to be able to get acquainted - let me know if interested. I felt bad that as soon as I started talking to you, I got pulled away. Then couldn't find you.
