Since I started the train's project, I have been neglecting the Z. Took a break from that and decided it was time for a different look.

Other than a few stripes, x-pipe, I haven't put a mod on this car for 4 years, it was time.

Be-damn the purists, really don't care. :D

I guess I’ll eventually have to accept those being around. Not my style at all. I think the clear Z06/ZR1 tail lights are the coolest, but to each his own.

Not for everyone, it's different and I kind of like them.

Is that a cover or a whole new light assembly Norm? Different for sure. Looks ok to me.

Did you do the install yourself and if so, how bad was it on a scale of 1-10?

1-10? About a 3, 0 being the hardest. Clips don't disengage that easy, you do have to fight it a bit.

For the half-assed mechanically inclined like me, they were a PITA, not as easy as the install video portrayed. Were actually three of us, two to pull back the rear clip and hold, one to take out the stock and install the new.

Video said half hour........my ass, took us 2.5 hours.

See install video.

3 people 2.5 hours? Yikes.

Still might do it.

It took me ~4 hours total to install a CF diffuser on mine, which required removal of the entire rear bumper cover. It can be a PITA, but it's doable.

As for the lights, I'll pass. To each their own.

Futzing around with the lights this evening. I'm liking them more and more, got some nice comments from the gang.
