Between the two movies, I have a slight bit more empathy for vegans.

The meat (beef or chicken) industry is MONSTROUS and runs like the diamond industry with regard to controlling the market.

It's actually not meant to be a statement about not eating meat. It is a statement about the mafia-like control of the industry and the things consumers don't know about the food we eat.

The chicken we eat goes from hatching to processing in less than 2 months. They are so genetically altered and grow so fast their hip bones dislocate, bones snap, and they many die of heart attacks.

It's an interesting story of how chicken farmers are abused by the industry.

No, it won't stop me from eating meat. I simply have a better understanding of the vegan perspective.

Ok, I read the first three hits that Google provided. None of them make any mention of the industry, only his health and the possible effects of his drinking.

There's a Mickey Ds at the Loves truck stop down the road from my work. They have a managers special constantly running. It's 40 chicken nuggets and a gallon of sweet tea for $10.00. Sometimes we will split that between 3 people for lunch, I always go home with a stomach ache. :yesnod:
