So a week ago I crossed a toll bridge on I-65 between Kentucky and Indiana. It's one of those all-electronic toll bridges, so if you don't have an account you're supposed to go on their web site, enter your vehicle information, and pay your toll with a credit card. However, when I entered the info it found nothing, and it's been over a week now.
What Would VBOT Do? :waiting:

Wait and see if I get a bill. Sometimes the cameras blur numbers and they throw it out.

Really? Around here they take a pic of your license plate as you cross over and send you a bill.

OBTW, this was a rental car, so the invoice (if any) will go to the rental car company, who will no doubt tack on some rapacious fee along with the actual toll.

In that case I would say contact the rental company and arrange to pay them.:yesnod:

I have a FasTrak transponder here in SoCal and they do Pay By Plate as well. There have been a few instances where the transponder failed to read and the camera failed to get my license plate. The technology is not infallible. :yesnod:

wait for the ticket
:iagree:
Florida has number of similar toll roads. If they got a clear shot of your plate you will receive a bill in the mail within a couple of weeks.

Call the rental place.

If I pay the toll authority before they send an invoice the rental company will never even know (and won't dry rape me with extra fees).

You can just e-mail it in, no biggie.

Yup, the rental car company will bend you over and come in dry compared to the actual toll fee

Why not go through again, this time with your pants down masturbating vigorously. That’s what I’d do anyway.
Next time you get pulled over on I-65 in Either Indiana or Kentucky.....
When the Trooper asks you to step out of the Vehicle.. Cuffs you... and you ask why...
The in Squad Car Computer has a warrant out for your arrest stemming from the bridge toll violation down there at Jeffersonville...

Update: So I called the toll authority customer service center this morning. I gave the rep the license plate and she verified that there is nothing in their system. Despite the website clearly stating that it may take 3 - 5 days for the transaction to show up and to call CS after 7 days, the rep told me it might take up to 10 days and to call back next week.
How ****ing inefficient/incompetent is that tolling system? How the **** could it possibly take 10 days? I drive a toll road to work every day and my tolls show up in my account within hours. Do they even have OCR on their license plate cameras, or do they have a bunch of sweatshop workers manually reviewing videotapes and writing down license plates, then manually keying that data into the system? And why don't the instructions on the web site reflect reality? :madcloud:

Toll agency sent the bill to the owner of record (rental agency).
Rental agency returned it to the Toll agency along with contact info for the renter (me).
Toll agency sent me the bill.
No BS from the rental place.
I don't recall if there was a late fee or surcharge, but if there was, it got waived after speaking with customer service at the Toll agency.
Cliffs: Quit whining and be patient. :cert:
