I live in California about 100 miles north of San Francisco. There are two charging stations in my entire county last time I checked. One at a hotel about 15 miles from me and one at a winery about 25 miles from me. We're usually way behind the curve with any tech stuff. When I moved here in '91 the grocery stores didn't have scanners at the checkstands.

My sister in law has a bmw i3. I told my brother that car is as ghey as a picnic basket. I will take my gas guzzling Tahoe, Vette or wife’s oversized grocery cart any day over an electric piece of shit. Make them with a 250+ mile range, reasonably priced and non fire hazardous. Until that happens, keep hugging trees and I’ll keep buying unnecessarily large engined gas guzzlers.

I drive a 2019 Mustang. Depending on which site you believe there are between 155,000 and 168,000 "charging stations" in the US. I got 32 MPG on my last road trip with the Ecoboost and I never spend more than about 5 minutes "recharging". And I will never have to worry about my battery pack spontaneously combusting, or wonder about the environmental impact of disposing of all those pesky battery cells every so often. And if I fall asleep at the wheel Darwin will win instead of auto pilot saving my worthless ass.

Now hear this all you newbies... this is not CFOT. Until the recent influx those of us who frequented both sites mostly kept those worlds apart from each other because a majority of the regulars here got tired of all that "over there" and we left it in the past where it belongs.
