No shit! Can you imagine being in that little regional? Especially in the front. People in the Airbus felt little to nothing. A small bump some said.

I guess we now know why you are supposed to keep your belts buckled the whole time.

That would definitely make a few folks drop a deuce on the regional.

Incidents like this are what make me laugh about the idiots who are always complaining about wearing their belts while on the ground.

I remember when the A-380 was under development there were a lot of concerns about the space available at existing airports for safe ground operations of a plane that large. It appears the detractors made some valid points. :yesnod:

They should put lights on those jets so you could see them at night.

From the blurry video, it looks like an A 340, NOT an A 380...can anyone verify this?

If it WAS a 340, then this is another example of Non-Aviation morons "Reporting" on Aviation events..........I really can't tell from the video, but it really does look a 340 to me.

:seeya:

EDIT: Ahhh, I just saw a different video of the incident....Looks like it COULD have been an A 380 afterall..

All Robin Meade and the rest of the talking heads know is what comes over their ear buds.

:iagree: It's too big. Most airports can't handle the weight and size of the A380.

That poor little RJ is tough. I like flying on those little guys; they always have a better "feel" - more eager, more fun. I hope it doesn't have un-repairable structural damage.
