We 2 New Years to celebrate. For the first one on the 31 we well have a party with family and friends at our house. There will be food and plenty of beer and other spirits. We also have ingredients to make duck farts. The second New Years will be in early Feb. which will be the Vietnamese lunar new year. My son was supposed to fly from YUL to Filthydelphia on Sunday. His flight was cancelled. They could have rebooked him through YYZ. If he had taken that flight, he would have ****ed, because that too was cancelled. He was able to get a flight out yesterday.

Hopefully you'll get lucky and get your flight to YYZ.

It was a $54 upgrade. Had to be out of hotel at 11am and flight was originally 3:30pm now 4:50pm.

If I was drinking in a bar all that time in the terminal I'd easily spend more than the upgrade, plus we are much more chill here in the lounge than hanging around with the peasants in the terminal.

It is, and one of many reasons I support the brand. They do a sortof friends and family day at the distillery. folks line up to buy the bourbon. They make Christmas cookies with it, and have the sales staff there giving out cookies and drinks in the attached bar. I like local business first, especially when I know they treat their people well. In fact, I had winter classic tickets last year. (outdoor ice hockey). I bought four, but forgot I would be in the keys for the game, lol so I gave them to the sales staff. :cert:

He turned into a nasty angry ****er after an hour. Took a few swings at folks before his mortified wife threw him out. I felt bad for his teenage kids who were ashamed and embarrassed. The night went on nonetheless. He and his wife came over the next day and apologized - forgiven but not forgotten.

So this year, the kids announced a boatload of hooligans will show up. None of drinking age though. Beers for me and maybe champagne.
