When he gets in the car the rearview mirror is clearly visible and some stuff hanging off it.

There's a blip in the video and once he starts driving there is no rearview mirror or anything else that was there when he got in the car.

Did he splice someone else's driving vid with his intro?

EDIT: OK, just froze the vid and looks like whatever was below the RVM was the camera mount so maybe that's not it.
