I have no dog in the fight, but I sure as hell won't PM anyone if it is going to be made public. I sure as hell would never post anyone's PMs to me either. Regardless of whether they pissed me off.

She had posted PMs from me several months ago with no penalty. Since she keeps her PM box full to avoid criticism, that was the only way I could reach her. I agree and I thought PMs were sacrosanct until she did it to me and wasn't punished. I did it back and was sent to band camp. I now know there is a CFOT rule that forbids "bad" PMs and hosting them will "set you free. :pain:"

One school of thought says that once you send a PM (or a letter, or an email, or any other form of communication) it becomes the property of the recipient, and they can do with it whatever they want. So don't send anything in a PM that you wouldn't want to see published in the local newspaper. ;)


The problem is that even saying in a PM what you would say in any post response can get you banned. I haven't figured out what you can say over there in a thread vs. what you can say in a PM. They seem to have just decided to eliminate as many, what they feel are, negative posts to set a new "standard." to teach us a lesson. I'm sure they feel we will all come back after the ban. They seem to want a kinder and gentler nation. :kick:

I hope their efforts bring them a lot of ex members that don't go back over there when our bans are over!
