A great big flying bug crashes from the ceiling onto my monitor. It’s head was a huge sphere. It was attached to a spear like body that ended in a sharp point no doubt to tell the world “I will sting the **** out of you”. It looked like it had a single wing.

I glanced over to my other monitor to finish my email, looked back and it was gone.

Now, that thing is in my office. Somewhere.

Ok. First off, it’s way harder to set your house on fire than it seems. I swear it went out ten times. I ran out of gas and unfortunately cars DO burn really easy so I couldn’t get more.

I’ve used a hammer to punch about a thousand holes in the walls (unrelated to bug. Just bored).

I did throw everything in the office out the patio door. (Wife is pissed. I told her to get off her chair. She just got some scrapes since the office is on the second floor and the chair sort of protected her from the drop)

Now I need a nap. This isn’t over.

I swear I have seen more oddball insects this summer than ever before; most I do not recognize. Aliens I think. Small ones who are able to penetrate any opening, survive long periods of time without food or water, are impervious to radiation and have exoskeletons which are level IIIA rated. You have been invaded Pete... all your house is theirs!

Holy shit. I was thinking the same thing. There is no way that thing came from this planet. It flew up my nose about an hour ago and I can feel it crawling around in my brain.
