View Full Version : Swapped A Corvette For Another
Corvette..................well, not really.
I occasionally breeze by a local auto lot that sells high end cars & trucks to see if anything peaks my interest. Saw a 2004 XLR sitting out front, rarely see them in these parts. Took it for a test drive, looks good, handles and runs well. 44K on the clock, previous owner really kept this in good shape. Made a deal, traded in my '75 Stingray, all happy. Been wanting one for years, the honey's happy too.

Based on the C5 chassis, built in BG alongside the C5...win in my book!

Nice; I always liked the looks of them. Don't see them around much.
I'd drive that. Even if it is red. :yesnod: :thumbs:

Great fine and looks great. Don’t see many on the road anymore. I bet it rides a lot better than the 75. 😁

Gorgeous ride Norm!! I remember the first time I saw one up close. We were at a fundraiser in NY and a CF member worked at a dealership and drove one in to be part of the event.
Window sticker read "$100,000" exactly.
I expected 99,990.63 or something of the sort.
One of the nicest looks Caddy has ever rocked for their late models.

Liked them since day one, then saw James Woods drive a black one on his "Shark" TV series ('06 -'08), that's when I really wanted one. He was driving one similar to the one below.
Only took me 13 years......:D

What were they asking for it? Just wonder what they are going for nowadays. I've always liked them, too. I would buy one of them before any used Corvette.

$20K. Checked mine, MSRP was $75K in '04.

If I see you passing through Slaughter Beach this weekend I'll wave.
Nice ride:seasix:
The 75 was the blue one with the custom tail ? Right ?
