Does the Jeep Cherokee suck? Reason I may be in for replacing my Ford 2001 F150 Crew Cab. I need something with better mileage, and I really no longer need a truck since I will be retiring soon (maybe next year). I'm not interested in a new Jeep, but a 2016 or so model year.

Like most of any cars, ask 100 people and you’ll get 100 different answers. My daughter has one and refuses to get rid of it unless for a newer Cherokee. It’s been a great vehicle for them...

Thanks everyone. The Hawk runs and drives great. To me it rides better than the CTS-V did. I haven't pushed it thru the corners yet and with a higher center of gravity I would expect it to not be as good. It is almost at the 500 mile break in so I'll hopefully get to play a little and see how it launches. The performance pages are cool in the Uconnect system. Has 0-60 times, launch, 0-100, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile times. Shows a dyno page, one with HP, TQ and blower pressure. Pretty neat set up compared to the Caddy system.

I was kidding my wife and told her I would only give her the Black Key, silly me both of the keys are RED!! I'm worried if she drives it I might be taking the Trailblazer or Hummer to work.

Regular shifter, push to the drivers side for manual either on the paddles or the stick.
It sure beats the hell out of the Denali so far.

:confused5: OK, do you have any idea how the thing/blower/charger works??

where are the blades/whatever that compress the air?? looks as if there are one set per side/bank but how in hell that shaft that is offset to one side get the power to them??

just my mechanickle curiorASSity......:leaving:

The 5.7L Hemi makes its 410 lb-ft. peak torque at 4,800RPM; the Hellcat makes 411 kb-ft at 1,200RPM. 90% of the engine parts are new in the Hellcat. The 2.4L IHI supercharger runs 14,600 RPM at just over 11PSI.

As the air / fuel mixture is sucked in, the super changer compresses the mixture to 11 psi before it "jams" it into the cylinder.

Here is a .gif of the compressor vanes. These are made to extremely tight tolerances
