What do you do with this stuff? Restore it? Resell it?

I WANT THAT SPRINGFIELD!!!!!
I would like one strictly for the collector value. I shot a friend's 03-A3 and it was the most punishing rifle I ever shot. ( I own numerous belted magnums and have shot other big bore rifles)
The stock design was strictly to maximise the wood used per rifle. It was NOT done for anything resembling shooter comfort.
I would much rather shoot two full boxes of hot 180 grain loads out of my Ruger MK II .300 win mag than a single stripper clip out of 03-A3
It is a beautiful rifle though with a great history

I have been going to auctions a long time and have never run upon a Springfield; nevermind what appears to be a really nice condition Israeli 98 in .308. You are indeed a lucky man.

I flip, keep, barter...…
Hardest hitting for me is .35 Remington in an 18" barrel Woodmaster
This is a K98 which is originally a German issued rifle.
After WWII, The Norwegian government received a number of these rifles which were changed to .30-'06 caliber.
You can see the milled out area on top of the receiver ring to accommodate the longer cartridge.
These rifles were issued to different branches of the
Norwegian military.
This one is a Norwegian Army rifle with the "HAER" markings.
The rifles retained the German proof marks, but new serial numbers were applied while the original serial numbers were lined out.
This model has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, and buttplate.
All German numbers match too 18 swastikas throughout and shot it today with ww2 surplus ammo...…..the irony, accurate as it should be :)

Absolutely beautiful rifle! Love the old cabinet, too. I have a few antique pieces throughout the house.
