Wife & I went to a friends fathers funeral Saturday....he had just turned 90.....his wife is 87 and his sister is 92......
At the grave site they had a the service and then asked everyone to take a flower and place is on his casket and say your last goodbyes.....everyone did that and the family was last...
The 92 year old sister and his wife walk up to the casket and are in tears....they put a flower each on the casket and then put their hands on it ....
Then ......the sister slides under the casket into the grave and pulls his wife in with her:willy: :ack:  :willy: :faint:

People close by scrambled to pull them out :willy: ....once out someone put their coat on the ground for the Aunt to stand on because her shoes came off and were in the grave :faint:.....a worker there had to go in the grave to get them :wow:

True story I was there....I was wondering if Stephen King was too !

Thats awful!

I almost fell in my mothers grave when I was helping carry the casket. I leaned on the frame that was going to support the casket, it shifted and I had to adjust quickly

When my step grandmother died, I was one of the six pallbearers. When we lifted the casket to move it to the burial plot, we all realized she purchased a lead lined casket.

I had a front corner and she weighed maybe 130 lbs soaking wet and this casket had to top 600 lbs. It would have been better to have eight instead of six.

As we make our way to the plot, the other guys cut the corner and it almost pulled me into the grave. If that casket would have landed on me, they could have had a "twofer" :sadangel:
