My oldest son did the ancestry DNA thing (got it as a XMAS gift) and well, we are all white, and hillbillies to boot. Wife's family, true WVa hillbillies, mine, Southwest Va hillbillies. I was definitely not shocked when this came back. Can't say I didn't tell him so..:rofl:

Similar result here. Mostly German with a small percentage of Scandinavian and British Isles.
When I fill out a form that asks race, I write "Master".:hide:

Yep they just solved a 27 year old murder here because a cousin had their DNA tested. The DNA found on the victim was in the system. They checked the relatives an narrowed it down to one guy. He was a DJ and they went to one of his gigs . When he threw his water bottle with gum in it in the trash they picked it up and tested it. It was a match and he ended up pleading guilty.

Doubt that he will. Feds already have mine from being in the military. It wasn't an option to have it taken. That said, I'm pretty sure he won't commit any crimes, but yes, you have a very valid point.
