Really cool Jeff. :):seasix:

I'm going to have to research the original location of this racetrack and take some aerial photos. There were many racetracks in Los Angeles during those days, and evidence of them still exists. :yesnod:

In one case that I am familiar with, a bit down South of Beverly Hills in Culver City, you can actually still see the original racetrack profile in the neighborhood that was built after the racetrack was abandoned/destroyed. They basically built the neighborhood in a circular pattern around the former location of the track, probably out of convenience. I'll get a pic of it.

For the SOCAL folks, you probably would not be able to tell from the ground, but from the air it is very apparent. :yesnod: It's East of the 405, South of the 10 and North of the 90. Kind of around the Fox Hills Mall area.

My little bro runs pre 20’s HD’s on Cannonballs across the US. Just completed his second one from Portland to Portland this year

Those tracks had to be wild being wooden with the sun and shade, water etc. hitting on them..... I can only imagine driving on them.
