I just watched a documentary about Kansas that honestly, is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. It's called "Miracles out of Nowhere". I found it on AXS Tv...may be available elsewhere.
If you liked their music, you'll love this. It's an American story. Check it out.

I used to work with a guy that was in on the production of a lot of their Albums...I wonder if he is in the documentary? His name was Brad Aaron. Nice dude. :yesnod:

I watched a Kansas one a while back. I don't remember the name, but it was really good so I'll assume it was the one you're talking about.
There is one about Brian Wilson Beach Boys that is a 2 parter. It's pretty good too.
Others that were good...
Funk Brothers (Standing in the Shadows of Motown)
The Wrecking Crew

A lot of folks think of Kansas based on the few overplayed tunes they had; Dust In the Wind, Carry On etc.
They have so much excellent older material out there on albums like Monolith, Masque etc.
Took my daughter to see them (what's left of them) last year.

I have that channel. Watch it a lot. Very good documentaries on a lot of rock groups and specials on how particular albums were made.

You pay extra for VIP packages, backstage passes etc.
Wife and I have met a few interesting folks over the years.

What Simpleman said. When buying tickets online, there's usually a button to purchase VIP tickets. Not cheap. The VIP ticket includes extras that aren't worth anything IMO. It's all about the photo op.

Funk Brothers documentary is one I'll watch every chance I get. These guys were Motown.
