Bought my first computer in '95 and of course it had win95 on it, I was expecting an update in '96........:dance::rofl:

Paid like 3500 bux for the setup.....with a borrowed acoustic modem....then went to my own dial up modem......a friend had the handle mrGTO and when my ISP asked about what handle I wanted.....caught flatfooted, I thought of Skip and said mrvette........and I was the first on with that handle.....

1995 but now you got me thinking, and I may well be thinking of my ex/kids mom and her borrowed old terminal she got from the Feds, and my hooking up a modem to the phone lines....I remember having one of them....

by time MY computer came around well after the divorce...it maybe was hard wired with a speaker on it the usual dial up sounds....and then it sounds like a little girl snickering when connection made......
