I'm throwing on my new Ariat shit kickers and going there around 3:30

Speaking of new shit kickers....
I've never liked a new pair of boots that I got.
Until they broke in and got some battle wear, they just never looked right.
Same with these new Ariats.
The shaft is perfect but the color of the lower boot is a browny tan with more brown it it. I'm not thrilled with the color, but having bought many boots in the past, I know that these will come into perfection.
Another thing is the double stitched sole with white thread. It looks kinda funny now, but once the threads get "dusted up", it should look fine.
Liz is not a fan right now.
I told her that it'll take a year for these to look right. From past experience, that's what it'll take.

Are you sure it's a good idea to wear new boots to somewhere you will be doing a lot of walking all day? I'd get them a little more broken in first and make sure they aren't going to give you blisters anywhere or anything like that.

Wow... What a day. The sights were just magnificent.
The bands were pretty darned good too. The weather was perfect, lending to some really skimpy fashions.
I didn't even take any pics because it was a laugh a minute or just too many things going on so here, look at these.

In a 2 mile, Main Street stretch, there had to be 10,000 people, all with beer in their hands.... Pretty amazing for such a small town... Each bar had an outside tent with numerous bands throughout the day.....

My town, East Aurora NY is one of 11 cities and towns in the USA that has no open container law.
We can walk down the streets with an open beer 24/7 if we wanted to.
