One of the retired salesmen Jim, still works one day a week. Jim just turned 80 and is doing quite well. He shared another fiasco of his friend Conrad. ( who is about the same age and should get rid of any power tools )
Conrad was using his table saw in his basement to rip ( cut ) boards into strips for when he recaulks his log cabin in Maine.
As he starts ripping the first one, he realizes he should use a pusher to finish the cut. ( that way he won't cut off any digits )
He cut about 7' of a 8' long board when he decided to get the pusher stick. He left the saw running which the board in the middle of a cut. :slap:
Due to vibration or whatever, the board was launched by the saw across the room.
Into a FULL CASE of 8' fluorescent bulbs. So you have the noise of the board impacting the case and the sounds of dozens of bulbs breaking.
That was entirely too much for his old dog and the dog was literally crapping as it ran around the basement. :willy:
