Looks like there will be a couple of Canadian teams in the playoffs this year. It's great to see our northern neighbors embracing the great American sport of ice hockey.

Only 2 of the Original Six teams are in the playoffs this year.

it's the first time in 12 years they haven't been in the playoffs.

Two games now.

Giants win two games by 1-0. The one run scored was by a Joe Panik solo home run in both games. First time ever in baseball history a team has won their first two games 1-0 with both runs being solo homers hit by the same player.

I went by one of our local Kroger Grocery stores on Thursday - Opening Day. They didnt have any Cracker Jacks at all, but their Ball Park Franks were on sale 4 packs for $5.00. I also saved about $200.00 by not driving down to Arlington for one game and watched 4 games on ESPN. Sort of a religous holiday for me!
