Savannah throws a huge St Patrick's day bash every year and this time Mike Pence is coming to watch the parade. I was going to hit downtown Saturday for my yearly Wet Willie's drunkfest but with all the extra security I think I will stay home.

For those who might not know, Wet Willie's makes slushy fruity cocktails laced with grain alcohol as the octane enhancer. As a bonus, in Savannah's designated party areas you can purchase a cocktail in a plastic glass and roam the streets freely as you consume; and people watch. I prefer the Sexy Mama... a mashup of equal parts Bahama Mama and Sex on the Beach. Drinking these is a self limiting experience; if you don't pass out first, eventually you get so blasted you can't hold the cup any more.

I made the mistake once of having 3 large "Call a cab's" there. I was already toasted before that endeavor, and let's say lesson learned. The next few days of my life were not good.:sadangel:

That is where it gets interesting. When it was time to go, and believe me....it was time to go, there were these two black dudes on river street that were playing in a band, and the were leaving. I told them I would give them 20 bucks to give me and my buddy Dub a ride back to Pooler to the CRTC which is where we had a jet for an exercise. I made it about 20 steps through the gate before it all started to come back up. It was bad..really, really, bad.:yesnod:
