Only our money, of course... What a joke.

:kick:

Updates on California’s high speed rail project never fail to disappoint.

On Friday, rail authority officials announced the planned project connecting Los Angeles and San Francisco will cost more than $77 billion, up $13 billion from just two years ago. Costs could rise to as much as $98.1 billion.

Further, the rail authority has pushed back expected completition to four years from 2029 to 2033.

The news comes just months after it was announced that the estimated cost of the first segment of the bullet train in the Central Valley jumped 35 percent, from $7.6 billion in 2016 to now $10.6 billion. The newly released business plan for the project suggests costs for that segment alone could surpass $12 billion.

It was originally supposed to cost $6 billion.

How many more delays and how many more cost increases are Californians supposed to tolerate?

Californians should demand an immediate end to the expensive disaster that is the high speed rail project. There are better uses of that money and more pressing transportation issues that need to be addressed.

F**k you, Jerry Brown.

If California didn't have outrageous taxes and illogical liberal policies, I would move there tomorrow.

I didn't used to believe this, but Progressives ruin every single thing they touch.

F**k you, Jerry Brown.

It was a voter approved ballot initiative that authorized that idiotic plan.
There are a lot of really smart people in California, but they're outnumbered about 18 to 1 by fk'n morons.

Don't forget another of Jerry Brown's contributions: cap-and-extort.

It wouldn't surprise me if Musk swooped in and said: "We can do the rail for seventy five billion", and everyone jumps on it. Taxpayers take it up the ass and think they got a deal.

Dude is super smart and super rich. I love the fact he put the screws to Trump the other day about fair trade and brought up some great points. We as a nation need to quit letting foreign companies bring their crap to our shores for next to nothing when they charge us 20-30% to put our items on their shores.

What's the problem? They're free. Don't take one if you don't want it, but remember, some men have vaginas.

The dems in that state are as close to an actual cult as one can get. I feel bad for actual Americans that live there.
