Finished a trade show 2 hours early to get on the road.
Some of the worst driving I've ever seen in my entire life.

By 2pm all commercial vehicles were banned from Rt 78 and 80 statewide in NY, NJ and PA.
Despite the warnings, I saw the most semis out there that I've seen in a long time. Rt 78 has a lot of steep grades that trucks just ain't gonna be able to maneuver in.

So it was 2 hours of watching them play sit and spin. Probably saw 40 accidents; none that appeared life threatening though, thankfully.

Lost of folks didn't act stupid, they did the real thing and all the way home.

Pics don't do it justice but there was a good foot of snow on most of Rt 78 in NJ.
Every couple miles there were 80' + trees down across the highway.

Do the trip in that fine red buggy?

After Friday's trying to get home fiasco, I took today off :yesnod:

Pics of wife?

Because if you were willing to drive through that to get home to her she must really be something.:D

We seldom see snow here, but I spent the week of New Years up in Spokane so I was able to brush up on my snow and ice driving skills.

Scotty, aren't you usually in Florida this time of year?

That looks like tough going brother, been there many times. It's never fun. The only thing worse than having to drive a few hundred miles in it is having to work a show and knowing that you have that to look forward to after packing up.

I hear ya but this is one of our largest distributors in the country and a big show for us, so no missing this one.

Took the F One Fiddy.
Could've used my weights that I left home. Didn't hear anything about a storm when I left home.

Just stayed in the far left lane (unplowed) and tried to stay as far from everyone else as possible.

Took this shot on her birthday last month. :D

New ear rings for her b-day.
Most of you hounds have seen her, if not met her already.

Another reason I don’t miss PA where I lived until age 45 or IL where I lived until 61

Played golf in FL today

:iagree:

My current job at work is turning a 2" x 8" solid aluminum block that is 11" long that starts out as a 17 lb chunk into basically a "sheet metal" 1 lb cover.

That can wait for me. You need to talk to folks NOW for your product to move.

We can't go for extended trips now that my oldest daughter is out of private school and in HS.
Was her preference and her close friends all go there.

Sure miss riding out the Winters there.... :slap:
