I'd rather be in a place that gets lots of snow than ice storms. That ice mofo don't play.
did someone say oak? :hurray: :DAB:

Ice storms are not fun. Was affected by the ice storm of ‘98. Lost power for well over a week. It sucked.

We're usually on the snow line, so I worry about ice every winter.

It's been several years since our last one and I can still show you damage on my property and others. At the golf course where I'm a member they lost hundreds of trees, and them more to high winds a year later. They planted a bunch of new trees and now the sons of bitches are big enough to hit. You're like "HEY! I used to be able to hit through there! WTF?" Sorry, a bit off topic...

Ice and wind storms can raise havoc on people and property. Been in both and hate both.
I've been through several ice storms over the years. They suck.
