I have an electric razor type groomer that works ok, but am wondering if anyone has one that they really like.
Our Miniature Schnauzer 16 week old puppy needed a trim, so I took her to the barn and did her good. :hump:
Ya... Anyway, I'm pretty good at the Schnauzer cut, but my set seems to be unprofessional and inadequate, so I'm looking for suggestions.
Can anybody recommend a really good dog grooming setup?.

I'm actually taking the pooch to the groomer tomorrow.Last time the wife tried to clip his nails it looked like a murder scene in the house with the amount of blood because she cut too much and hit the nerve.

I can't recommend any dog specific clippers, but I have used Oster Classic 76 on my bald head for a number of years. They are the industry standard barber clippers, and they work great. They probably make one for dogs.

Our Sam dog is a shaggy one, we usually just pay for grooming on him though.

That's bullshit. You don't have blue eyes.

Seriously though; that's a tough breed to groom. If it depended on me that poor dog would have a crew cut. Not intentionally, just the way it would turn out. :Jeff '79:

Don't go cheap. Get a GOOD grooming table. Your back will thank you. Oster clippers are the best, quiet and keep relatively cool. I have an Andis clipper I use for the body-lots of power. Use sharp scissors to trim the eyebrows. Take care on the ears, if you slip anywhere, that's where it will be. Keep a vial of styptic near. Slips do happen. The great thing about the table, it lets you trim their nails and footpads with little trouble.

These pics tear me up. 2 out of 3 have passed and the 3rd is close. :sadangel::sadangel::sadangel:
