We usually watch TV with volume at 10 to 14. It's a Samsung 55" but....when we watch anything on Netflix we need to have the volume up in the 70's and one time up to the max at 100 :willy:
Anyone else have this happen :confused5:

I have a Samsung. I'm perfectly happy to have the sound at 10, maybe 7 or 8. Anything over 15 is annoyingly loud. Haven't experienced anything like what you are experiencing. Have you tried streaming on different devices to see if there is a difference? Got a laptop you can stream content on? Connect that to the TV.

You using tv speakers only?

Asking because there are different audio output formats from Netflix and if you're running a separate avr or amp, it could be set to PCM instead of Bitstream and you could be losing audio in the "downmix".

It could also be the way your tv is processing the audio. I haven't run volume via tv in years. Do you have settings for audio input via HDMI like Bitstream or PCM?

You can also adjust audio output on some of the Netflix shows.

yes, it's because they prioritize the video feed over audio so that it doesn't buffer. No biggy.

We experience something similar with Amazon Prime. Our TVs are Visio.
