Be absolutely certain to read the fine print very, very carefully.
Usually with those too-good-to-be-true teaser rate deals, if you do anything contrary to the strict rules they require you to follow, the teaser rate vanishes and the rates go up to the max (like 18% or even much higher).
Something as simple as being only one day late in payment can trigger this. Sometimes they not only take away the teaser rate, the late fees can be outrageous (like $60 or more).
Watch out.

A late payment, and the rate automatically defaults to 13.99%......Big whip !....If they try to screw me, I'll pay it off , and say see ya later, just like when the rates went through the roof 2 years ago......I knew they would eventually come back begging.

There's usually a 3-5% one time fee on balance transfers.

28% ???? Your credit must really suck.
Yes the balance transfer fee is 3%, but I've got nuttin' to transfer...
It's a free loan for a year and a half. If you play the game right, you'll never pay interest....I had $110k, on interest free credit cards when I built my house, backed up by a construction loan, of course....Just do everything right, and it's all good.
But...but the credit card company said....
It's on the internet so it has to be true, right?
