Sports Illustrated Swimsuit names plus-size model Hunter McGrady as 2018 Rookie | Fox News (http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/01/19/sports-illustrated-swimsuit-names-plus-size-model-hunter-mcgrady-as-2018-rookie.html)

i'm sure she has a lovely personality, but this model doesn't match the others historically.

yes, that's just body paint. a lot of it. :faint:

It's truly sad that we continue to embrace sloth. I'm very overweight, and it's not healthy for me to be so. I run 3 miles a day, and play racquetball 3 days a week. Americans are becoming fatter and fatter and the health ramifications are significant. Glamorizing this and saying it's OK is not a path we should be taking.

People have every right to think she has a good shape and I reserve the right to vehemently disagree.

She is not technically fat... She's big boned and genetically predisposed to that body shape.
She actually looks to be in good physical shape to me.

first, she'll look like hell in 15 years if she hasn't dropped that baby fat, cellulite starts to form then, and all that fat goes south for good, and it's really bad for her health....:ack:,

second, I don't like big girls in bed. They're like a workout to hook up with....more like wrestling than making whoppee.:hump:

Seventy two now and married almost 48 years but in my younger times I dated a couple that made that one look small. I have a very simple thought about getting laid. If its legal and clean hit it. In other words waste not want not!

I also dated a few that were super gorgeous. Extremes went from 5' 100lbs to one that was 6'4'' about 200 pounds. Built about like the OPs picture!

Also dated a couple I could not guesstimate the weight, but it was up there, like I said waste not want not:D

Although my size is on the opposite end of the spectrum of the young lady pictured in the first post, this thread morphed into something more interesting...

I'd just say that looking at this topic, no wonder most chicks don't stick around this forum long. :island14:

I would venture to say you are correct plus the crudeness of some posters as well.

Pretty much. :yesnod:

Let me be clear here. All of my friends are men. Every last one of them. And I have spent plenty of time at the track. Therefore, thick skin is a must.

There is some good content here (cars/dogs/home improvement/food threads are more my interests), but it's easy to see how some women are turned off by/are run off of this forum.

Some comments I've seen are (and I'm not going to call individuals out by quoting them, as it defeats the purpose):

"Women are stupit"
"No wonder women make less than men"
and various other cute little epithets about women being barefoot/pregnant/in the kitchen/etc...

Kidding around or not...I don't know any woman who would like hearing/seeing that and sticking around for long.

I can't speak for Wendy at all, but I have a feeling this is the reason for her, and maybe others, departure.

Want women to post here? Then maybe lay off the keyboard commando stuff...if you wouldn't say it in person to someone, then don't type it out here.

I'm out. :kimblair:

"We want equality! Treat us the same!"

"WAAAAHHHH! YOU NEED TO CHANGE TO ACCOMODATE US!!!"

Women are free to discuss things that make us uncomfortable as well. They're not free to force anywhere they go to become a safe space and change for the sake of their delicate sensibilities.

Not at all. Just don't be a dick, simple as that. And not a delicate flower here, either. :seasix:

Hey I'm not looking to date the woman on this forum. I treat everybody the same. This is a car forum not a knitting, or what hat goes good with my outfit forum. Like the rest of the real world there are majority and minority posters and a few Canadians!:D

Not looking to date any of you, either. :Jeff '79: But that doesn't mean you shouldn't treat others (male or female) with respect.

And I don't GAFF about knitting. :Jeff '79:

why not create a "Ladies Lounge" section? Not to be "no men allowed"... but an area with a more defined purpose, other than "anything-goes" (which is what an OT section is).

Yeah...a "safe zone". We need more of those. We can have them in grocery stores and at the mall too. Maybe designate the backseat of the family car a safe zone. "Where seldom is heard a discouraging word". :Jeff '79:

OR, we could not be all snowflakey and move on. :seasix:

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit names plus-size model Hunter McGrady as 2018 Rookie | Fox News (http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/01/19/sports-illustrated-swimsuit-names-plus-size-model-hunter-mcgrady-as-2018-rookie.html)

Remember...in the 70s HOT ROD Magazine had custom painted vans on the cover too.

It's just a fad.
