The hood is up to release heat faster so it will recover from limp mode?

Dump that stupid spoiler in back, and add a tasteful little flip up like the sharks had.....and it would be a HUGE win.....:seasix::hurray:

You do understand that is the rear of the electric Corvette ? No rear cooling required.

Yes, I understand that car is electric. My post was a dig at the taillights.

A huge spoiler on a car that has no performance potential is well, ridiculous. That Corvette on the other hand is stock, a car that will do damn near 200 mph. Modded out, over 200 mph speeds are perfectly normal. That wing properly engineered, would give the down force needed at those speeds. A little "flip" spoiler like I have on my Grand Sport would be pretty useless at speeds like that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending goofy ass spoilers on shit boxes, but depending on the car, it ain't just for looks.

I hear you, but how many of them cars IF they ever sold in a street legal fashion at a dealership....will in fact EVER reach 200 mph??
2% is my guess.....ok maybe 5% I be generous.....

My '09 Z06 was capable of 200mph, but it only saw 155-ish... (at Talladega) :leaving:
My '01 vert was capable of 185+, but it only saw 155 too... (not at Talladega) :leaving:

Where you drive them?? I ASSume a race track.....fastest I ever been is an apparent ~130 mph around Daytona on the oval.....in a friend's '90? ZR1 and I don't trust any GM speedo as being correct....over indicating seems to be the normal mode.....
