The local Ace Hardware, which is actually a pretty good sized home improvement store, had sent me a coupon good today only giving me 50% off on any single item under $30. My wheelbarrow had a flat tire and had sat long enough to crack and ruin both tube and tire, so a whole new wheel was the simplest solution.
The wheel was $29.99 so I got it for $15. There was one person in front of me in the check out line. It was brutal. We spent almost 10 minutes in the store.
Next we went shopping at thrift stores to find some pots and pans for the kitchen in our clubhouse at our mobile home park, as we intend to use it more for family events. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and it worked out well.
The thrift stores were all closed. We went and had lunch at a local restaurant and got seated without waiting. Rough day, but hey, new wheelbarrow wheel.:seasix:
