I worked in a smokey bar for almost 25 years so my lungs were probably like that too. I used to have a smoker's hacking cough constantly. Plus more than a few combustables! :rasta:
I don't wheeze, or cough any more......it's been 20 years since I closed my bar, and 10 since I stopped inbibing....:hurray:

I can remember in grade school when they brought in a doll that smoked through what looked like a coffee filter. Showed the dirty filter to discourage smoking. Pretty much the same thing here. Pseudoscience is not the way to teach. Smoking is bad, mmkay?

I quit two days before the academy, Feb 08.
So glad I did. Probably the best decision I ever made.

An old family friend started smoking in her early teens. After high school, she went to nursing school. Became an OR nurse, & quit smoking the first time she was present for lung surgery on a heavy smoker.

Great video!
I quit 9 years ago this month.
That was one tough hurtle. I couldn't have done it without Chantix.

"smoking bad; kills unborn babies.... even second hand smoke. Should be outlawed, tobacco companies to be shut-down... protests with blood thrown on company headquarters building."
"Pot should be legal"

I picked up that habit back in screwal daze, especially in college....2.5 packs/day Camel turds, unfiltered......
One day it came down to money for beer or smokes....beer won....at least I got a buzz off it, drugs were just never EVER any consideration.....
stopped smoking, and never felt any effects one way or another, but that smoker's voice/cough went away in a month or so.....

I suppose, if one smokes 600 cigarettes, one right after the other, certain problems will occur. Who does that?
Meanwhile, in the real world.
Our body's ability to mend is beauty to behold!

I also quit smoking in 1982. I figured two packs of Kools a day wasn't doing me any good. :ack:
