Our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Levi can destroy toys quite fast. He's just under 150 lbs. We have a great luck with these Kong squeaker footballs in large size

We can't give him any bones to chew on since he splinters them in minutes. We get elk anter for his chew toys and as an added bonus they keep his teeth nice and bright.
They aren't cheap but they do last for quite a while.

Do not give him golf balls. We lost a Shorthair named Radar to a well chewed ball which he swallowed... and which got lodged inside.
I don't believe it. That's definitely a good boy.

We gave up on using tennis balls for our American Bulldog/Rotti mix.Would last maybe three throws then gone, switched over to a softball works out just fine.
Our Bernese Mountain Dog, Chester, is now 10.5 months old and 106 LBS. He has some large exercise balls he plays with in the back yard. He loves the ones with a handle that he can have his way with.
For chewing we go with the bully sticks or braided bully sticks. They keep him from destroying his toys and any other things.
He has not really destroyed anything except a large exercise ball or two. He likes to pop them and listen to them hiss as they die the slow death.

She only stretches out to the top. She learned early the gate/fence is a no go past zone.
The chickens come see her if she's not on the loose!
Our Great Dane was rough on toys and bones, 'cept for this one, cheap plastic ball with nubs all over it. You know the $1 toy at the checkout counter. I bought it as a joke really, but she carried that damn thing around for weeks. She'd squeak it every once in awhile, but never tore it up like all the other toys. One day I come home and the squeaker is chewed out of the ball. The rest of the ball was pretty much intact.
The next weekend I bought her a replacement just like the one she had so lovingly kept. I tossed it down on the floor, she walks up puts one foot on it, sniffs it......and rips it in half.
Looked at me with that WTF? look, and walked off.
Kong toys rock.
