That looks exactly like a Vette found several years ago. It was originally a GM executive's car, as I recall, and it had some special equipment.

I dunno about the hood, but the trunk lid was certainly...had the chrome trim...

Merc, that B&W pix chick there looks just like a chick at the Sherman paint store the other day.....totally GORGEOUS ROCKET FOX!!!!:seasix: Chick in the pix don't need them high heels though....

wonder what she looks like today, if alive that is.....I think that's a C3 she with there....

58 hood had louvers; only year for that.

Problem is they were fake louvres, and they looked it. Made the car look cheap.

Yeah, and from what I've read, since that trunk chrome only fits one year no one makes it aftermarket. Not enough demand for it.

The designers of the two-seat Thunderbird wanted louvres on the front fenders to explain the turn-ups in the body panels, but they had to settle for hash marks.

That would cost a fortune to restore plus it would not be original the rear trunk is not. The front cap has to be replaced. That for free might work and even then I don't know if it can be rebuilt for 35K.

Always liked the "one year" features of the '58.

This one however, needs a hard look underneath. (eBay photos)
