It's a 16 year old, used car that seems pretty honestly described. Someone will buy it. If the oil leak is valve covers, that's a pretty easy fix. Rear main seal? Well, 3 quarts a month isn't a deal breaker, and on the plus side, you'd never really have to change the oil, just spin on a new filter every blue moon.

That's the kind of ad I would write.....as descriptive as possible. That helps weed out tire kickers and photo collectors.

Few years ago, a friend of mine had one completely crap out after about a year of ownership, dealership ended up buying it back. It was a diesel, so I think they worked that angle. I believe the problem had something to do with a fuel pump or regulator. Anyway, it turned into a POS.

Another friend recently bought his wife a brand new 'bug' a few months ago, and the clear coat was already flaking after a few days. BRAND. NEW. CAR. He just got it back from VW after they 'made it right'

Me neither, especially when you go to buy parts for it! OUCH! The only German car I buy, if ever, will have a bumper to bumper warranty on it, and when that's done....down the road. :seeya:
