Final week at work!

This will be my last week at work. :party: After almost 34 years with the company I have had enough fun. Friday is my last day in the office and Saturday Beck, two cats and I leave to drive to Amelia Island. She has to come back late the following week due to work commitments and I will fly back on the 19th for closing on our house here. We will then fly back down to Florida with the other two cats and settle into our new life. :seasix:

People ask me what I miss from when I was a rat in the rat race, and really the only thing I miss is the people. People that worked for me, people who were customers, and people i dealt with on the business end everyday.
I've been retired for 20 years now.....and I keep busy everyday. that's the key. :yesnod:

Congratulations! I retired at the first of this year, and I absofukinglutely love it! People often ask me if I ever get bored being retired: Hell no! Course it helps that I have the entertainment threshold of a cat: Give me a paper bag in the den, and I'm happy.

BTW, you can now cross Mondays off your calendar.
