I got a new BlackBerry from Verizon last week and porting my number from ATT to Verizon, I have been trying for 5 days to get it activated. Finally I was able to get through to someone who could tell me what the problem was, the MEID of the phone which I received from Verizon via FedEx (and signed for) is marked as being a fraudulent number, and not one of Verizon's phones.
They are telling me that now I have to send the fvcker back and let them send me a new one. I think I am going to send it back and tell them to stick it in their pooper and go back to ATT. If they can't even send me a new phone without screwing it up, (this was done through my company's purchasing office) then I know they are going to hose me somehow in the future. :yesnod:
