if you are going to run 2.5 miles, do not do it in a shirt with a design on the front.

BTDT. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a logo. The wrong material can do it, too.

That's worse than losing a toe nail in IMO.

Kinda like diaper rash. Chaffing is a very real issue for long distance runners. When I did my 3 marathons, I used Body Glide on various parts of my body to help prevent this. It's painful!!!

they aren't bleeding, but they sure are sore and tender... I had to put band-aids over them.

No way in HELL should it happen that quickly. I didn't really have to worry about it for runs under 1 hour (7-8) miles. Only way it would happen that quickly is if the nipples were already rashed/scabbed from a previous run and the short run broke them open.

Usually if a jersey is a coarse nylon it will happen quickly.
Shoot, I've even had it happen with cotton if it's a chilly day.

Maybe you need a bra (bro) to keep the bouncing to a minimum. :yesnod:

Usually when it's cold, my nipples cut the shirt, not the other way around.
Looks like the more proper caveat, is to not run 2.5 miles RIGHT AFTER having your nipples pierced....:slap:
