Also, she has a 1-on-1 meeting tomorrow with the Chief Engineer of the entire Cummins Diesel Turbo program. He's based out of the UK, and they'll be doing a technical review of her bushing project from this summer. :faint:

We drive up Sunday with Baymax in tow. She'll be driving him to NC on Tuesday when we leave. If there is any issue with BMax, we'll stay and extra day and bring Toothless home on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, she has to head to GT from SC and we will move her into her dorm on Monday, get updated stickers on Baymax, etc., and then she'll make the trek back to NC for the Roush interview.

Very inefficient, but it's still an awesome opportunity and she'll capitalize on it for sure. On her own dime to boot, but again, you don't get those face to face invites very often. Jump when you do. :yesnod:

If she gets an internship offer from Roush Yates, it's a done deal, that's what she'll do. Cummins is already prepared for this, and her boss' boss has notified HR of this contingency, and that regardless of the outcome, they are to keep a position available for her in the future.

Doug Yates is the man, she will do great. And they do a LOT more than just left turn NASCAR stuff.

It doesn't go any higher than Doug, that's for sure. He bought his dad out a long time ago.

They are big in IMSA, and all sorts of road racing ventures....this is more interesting to GWiz than circle track racing, but regardless, she wants to be elbow deep in engines, regardless of the application. Chassis and suspension will certainly come into play in her career too. She's a seat of the pants driver. She definitely has Niki Lauda's ass when it comes to cars. :yesnod:
