Wife had a SOHC 4 cyl Ford 2.0 '99 Escort....150k and engine blew at speed......same thing to the whole damn block....shrapnel.....

same car/engine of a buddy...his SIL or Daughter driving it, went to start it, and clank.....replaced the piston/rod as were bent, redid the head, and fine...same exact miles on it too.... 150k even within maybe 300 miles of each other.....talk about setting the FUSE??? TIMER??? :issues:

Not to my knowledge......it was the #4 intake valve seat and the engines are famous for that shit.....like setting a watch 150k and LOOK OUT!!!!
