Lost a good friend today.

My next door neighbor passed away this morning. I just got the news. He had a heart attack last week and had 4-way bypass surgery. His kidneys were failing, and although he fought hard, he lost the battle. I only knew him one year and he was a great guy. He was 73 years old and an old NHRA drag racer.

When I first moved in he told me if he ever saw a burglar at my place he would shoot him, but he would be sure to use the shotgun so the holes it made in my mobile home would be small and easy to fix. My kinda guy. I'm really going to miss him.:yesnod:
