Got it at a car show/gathering....it was a parking meter on the streets of downtown Wash DC when I was a kid, I remember them from childhood and the guys going around picking up the coins.....make this about 65 years ago....

at what point they tore them out for newer models, I don't remember so I have to guess at early 70's.....

I have a old DC Transit Bus stop sign too, complete with initials and a date in the '40's...... also a fire hydrant from Monkey Co. Faryland, an old Fire Dept friend showed up with it in his truck one day....so I put the lean on him to get it.....it was a casualty of some wreck, but it LOOKS just fine outside....
