Well, so the usual firecracker noises last night, no biggie, some loud, most just commercial shit.....

then there is always that ONE in all my time here, THAT was the most impressive.....

it shook the house, and rattled the dirt/sand.....it was not a crack like a minor explosion,

that was a BOOOM!!!!!! with a deep bass note to it...

a stick of DYNO-MITE???

it was close by too......maybe someone tossed it into the swamp???

I still have some "strikers" from Italy. They have a match tip insteadd of a fuse and weerre always great for fishing. I think they werre the equivalent to a 1/6th stick of dynamite. Maybe a little less, but I've seen them do some damage.

I also have what we called and "onion bomb." It was called "Cipolla" in Italy and that translates to onion. Damn thing has a 50' fuse, is about two inches tall, and maybe 2 in diameter. I've seen them leave craters in asphalt when left lying on top of the road many times :willy:

But, I am saving them for a special occasion. What that is... I don't know, but I'll know it when the time comes :yesnod:
