That aircraft has never been duplicated and there's talk about reviving it in the Arrow II. Better than wasting money on the F35s.....

The Arrow was a spectacular aircraft for the time. It was killed by your prime minister because he wanted the money to subsidize Canadian farmers. All of the airplanes and their tooling were scrapped because the program was found to be effectively infiltrated with soviet spies. The technology, and engineers came to the US because there were plenty of defense contractors in the US that needed them.
Canada put all it's defense eggs in one basket, failed to protect them, and then elected a leftist who both figuratively and literally smashed them to bits.
Sixty plus years later, and Canadians are still crying about it. :crazy:
