OK. This is bullshit. The dude was on here every day for a couple of weeks and is now in witness protection? WTF?

He was amped up on the upcoming trip, went and had a good time, and now is back to his normal, quiet life. I've seen it before. Prolly see it again. Although for Greenman, he's a little different since previous overseas stations. He already knows the deal.

Yet, I can give an example of those less traveled.

A silver haired, doting like grandpa. He was in the P-I for his two week Reserve Annual Training. He arrived talking of his quiet life with his wife of many years in small town America. A come to life cast member of Andy Griffith even. The first Monday after the first weekend in country and reports said he found the fountain of youth. Pictures were taken, fun was had, and memories made.

The pictures were taken by the guy walking around selling "Memories". He'd take the picture, quickly develop the 8x10, and return with them for a nominal fee. Evidently, the fountain of youth involved grandpa in the middle of multiple young ladies in skimpy to no clothes at a bar downtown. It had to be the fountain of youth since grandpa had one of the biggest shit eatin' grins I've ever seen. :D
